Course Selection

 

Helping your child pick courses can be a daunting task.  Some things to keep in mind while you are helping guide your child:

• what are my child's learning style preferences?

• what are my child's learning skills like?

• does your child have the prerequisite for the course?

• is this a required course for my child's post-secondary pathway?

• how can my child challenge themselves?

• are there any courses outside of my child's main area of interest that woudl support their post-secondary pathway?

• are there any additional experiences, knowledge or skills required for your child's post-secondary pathway?
